I’ve seen enough of Holmes starting.

3.2 innings! Seriously! Ffs man. If we must use him until Hurston is ready put an opener in front of him.

Dude is a fastball slider pitcher. He doesn’t have the pitch mix for a 2nd and third go through.

Can we keep Tom Hart??

It's so telling in 1) how good he is and 2) how bad CJ is, where Hart sounds like a natural calling his first Braves game in 10+ years and CJ sounds awkward calling his 200+ Braves game in the last 3 years.

IMO Gaudin is a massive upgrade from Chip, but his voice is that of a video game announcer, as it should. Hart is great at what he does and it's cool to know how much being able to call Braves games means to him given his past with them.

Gaudin has been so much better this year. His first few seasons he was so over the top that it was grating.

But his voice and style just don't match at all with CJ's understated monotone and his dorky anecdotes.

To be fair though, there aren't a lot of PxP guys that can make CJ sound good.

Two in the bottom of the ninth for the Jays, as they beat the Phillies. And the Mets lost. Lol.

White Sox may have found something in moving Jacob Gonzalez from SS to 1B.

That's two runs he's saved the last few innings with a quick glove on balls hit 95+

Especially when we're running out Cookie to face their middle of the order in the 7th in a one run game.

Lee hasn't pitched in three days, not sure what Weiss is doing here unless he Lee has picked up a knock.

Who is the dude on here that keeps saying games don't matter until late August?

That stat they just showed completely torpedoes that narrative. Over the last month and a half, the Phillies are 27-12 and the Braves are 25-12, but we are still 9.5 games up because of how well we started out the gates.

Mets also went 7-3 and we went 8-2 last 10 meaning they gain NOTHING.

All games matter I know the guy you’re speaking of but I can’t think of his handle

Also we knew going into this game most of our leverage guys weren’t available

Lee and Saurez are already + 30 innings they can’t keep it up at that pace

Holmes answers with a smashing 3 innings

He’s atrocious this year defensively by metrics but he looks better imo usually by the eye

He’s already at -3 fielding runs added
