I just realized we got Tom Hart in the booth today.
This has to be his first Braves game since leaving for the SEC Network like a decade ago.

Holmes is out of the rotation the moment Hurston is ready, I would bet 1 million dollars this has already been decided

I think whenever we make a rotation move, Perez will be the first one on the chopping block.
And I imagine with Waldrep that they are going to work him back very slowly.

I disagree
Perez gives you exactly what he gives you and it’s consistent. You’re going to get 5 innings 3-4 runs
Holmes is all over the place and often can’t make it 5
And he only has 30 days to rehab. He started the 1st so he must be back by July 1

They've already DFA'd Perez once this season for a bullpen move.

FFS Ronald, do you ALWAYS have to get hurt…….
Posted on 6/9/26 at 7:44 pm to Broski
And Perez has been better than Holmes since then. Much better actually, especially if you don’t like exploding your pen

He still has options and still hasn't established himself at the MLB level, they are going to make sure he's healthy first and, second, capable of consistently putting together quality innings in AAA before they insert him in the rotation.
ETA: shite, Waldrep is likely the first prospect to go if/when we make a win-now deadline move within the next ,month.

Acuna limping and favoring his knee after trying to beat out an infield single.

Ronald tried to beat out an infield dribbler and injured his leg again.
He was pissed so its probably bad.

Looks like the left knee area.

It looked like he pulled his hamstring running down the line again. Came up hobbled right before he hit the first base bag.
