But you were making it out like "oh it's the pirates". It's not like we lost to a bunch of scrubs. Their pitching staff as a whole is one of the best in the league right now.
You Just chalk this up as a wash & head to Colorado hoping we dont get snowed out so we can demolish the Rockies.

The Pirates have two good starting pitchers and the Braves didn't even face Burnett.
The Braves' offense is bound to go through slumps with so many strikeout-prone hitters, and the pitching staff isn't going to maintain its current level of play. Color me unimpressed.

We're missing our best pitcher (Beachy), our setup man (Venters), our 2nd best hitter (Freeman), and arguably our 3rd best hitter (McCann). Lulz.
Braves will be fine. Most will be back within in the next 2-4 weeks.

It's as relevant as college softball or college girls basketball. Tennessee happens to be good at these sports, yet you don't see me watching or posting about those sports.
LSU cares more than any fanbase in the nation about college baseball (similar to UConn in girls basketball), but that doesn't mean we need to post about it in a perfectly good thread.

That's also with Heyward, BJ, and Simmons slumping. Heyward, when hot, can carry this team for weeks. I fully expect him to go on a tear soon.

College baseball is an irrelevant sport irl, just like women's college sports. I have never heard anyone discuss it anywhere except TigerDroppings.
Like softball and womens basketball, it is occasionally on TV, but that is the extent of its relevancy.
