I kind of see Tulane like they used to value teams for the NCAA Basketball tournament.
"How have they been playing of late?" (Oklahoma was back on September 14th).
Shutting out Navy (who was ranked in the Top 25 earlier this season) in Annapolis on Senior Day with the largest crowd ever in attendance is impressive, regardless of the program.
It does setup nicely. They have to earn the right to just stay in the conversation tonight. Lay an egg or have a bad half against a 9-win Memphis team and everyone will write them off (doesn't matter if they still W).
They then get a 10-win Army team in the AAC Championship game with an opportunity to match a similar score of what ND did to the Cadets.

After Memphis beats them tonight, they won't have one.

There's no argument
They definitely don't deserve to be there, not 1 quality win

They don’t even have a quality loss.
Their schedule is total shite.
Even LSU would be 9-2 with that schedule.

You mean to tell me that I have to choose between Tulane and Alabama?

If Tulane loses tonight, which is very possible, they need to work on keeping their coach and players.
