The shortness of some of these par 4s is being evened out the greens and 3 of the 4 par 3's being ridiculously difficult.

It's not a course that a lot of these guys have played a lot and the greens are not the easiest in the world to read. Rough is more us openy than usual as well.
Moist conditions and little wind this morning, so scoring should have been good. The winner may be in single digits under par this week as things stand right now.

I didn't think I would enjoy it but I am. I don't think its going to favor bombers as much as all of the talk was saying.

This after Brandel was blasting the club and Gil Hanse for the renovation and claiming that scores were going be insanely low and the course is too easy.
