Didn’t get to 18 in a single match. Lovely

Cantlay blew that match on 15. Just an awful putt for him there

Foursomes is such a weird thing. Not sure it was smart for Europe to lead with it. If I was them I would rather close the day with it

Could they lose 0-28? They've been playing important Euro Tour tourneys the last 6 weeks. US players have taken that time off.

I would wait to see how fourballs go before declaring anything at all. Foursomes for pro golfers isn’t an indicator really or dang near anything regarding current form

Did Azinger just say this is usually Europe’s best setting?

Yes, I don’t think the idiot realizes they usually do foursomes in the afternoon in Europe

Side note

They need to do something with bunkers. For pros, they are of zero consequence. They even get spin out of the bunkers and can place the ball anywhere out of them

However, they are very penal to mid and high handicappers. Seems the exact opposite of how you want golf to be setup

That’s a really odd take unless there’s some joke I’m missing

No joke. Bunkers are no longer a consequence to pro golfers at all and only slow pace of play, cost money, and put higher scores at local country clubs and public courses

Either make them truly penal to all golfers are make it thick rough instead

Homa / Harman had nothing this morning. Homa had a few chances to sink a putt, or hit an approach close. He wasn’t terrible, but he had several disappointing efforts.

I’m not sure running him back out there teamed with Clark is the best pairing. Then again, I don’t know who on the American side deserves two sessions today.

Azinger still doesn’t realize this session is normally foursomes
