I think Chambers Bay will end up being that course you just say damn this is impossible

I can’t wait until the open goes back there and it’s not as new

I honestly don't like the US Open when they make it too difficult. Makes it not as enjoyable for me seeing who will screw up the least and not seeing people make runs on Sunday

The greens will be new. They got rid of the fescue. shite was black/purple in 2015. Plus weeds everywhere. shite was bad.

Does the broadcast exaggerate the lighting? I swear I'm on the same lattitude as Augusta and it's full dusk here.

Yes it is not personally as enjoyable for me to watch golf tournaments where shooting par is impossible and good shots are not rewarded. Sorry if my personal enjoyment preferences differ from yours

To me and I’ll be in minority here but the US Open needs to be played at 7 courses
Pebble
Shinnecock
Winged Foot
Chambers Bay
Merion
Olympic
Congressional

The PGA at the following
Valhalla
Kiawah
Whistling Straights
Southern Hills
Quail Hollow
Torrey
Kampen

Sawgrass as rated by the people who play there aka Professional Golfers

It's not bullcrsp. You are creating arguments that were never made by me. That is the definition of a strawman. And you have done this in the majority of your posts

I was actually agreeing with you... But I still say Augusata is a very hard course... All things considered,... For some reason you must not like the place or something....

Lots of solid, historic courses you're leaving off the list.

I'll argue against because I'm in favor of renovating/restoring courses.

If you you limit Major events to the same locales, it decreases other courses from $$$ and incentive to continually improve.

Case in point, LA Country Club getting the open in 2023.
