Drove it into 9th fairway on the 1st hole, hit it to 8 feet, made birdie. All other drives long and straight

Same. I swear, if he would just stop trying to be a world beater with the driver, it would fix so many of his issues. When he is in the fairway, he still plays at a top level. Just swing easy, play a smart drive. He doesn't have to hit it 320 every drive.

Can’t make this up - his first tee shot was so far left it was near the ninth fairway. Hits approach over trees to 4 feet. Makes birdie.

Does ESPN not do Best Ball challenge anymore?

Tiger almost jarred it from fairway on No. 7. Ended 3 feet. Grinder over putt and playfully hit it about 20 feet past. Patrons went nuts.
Can he take it to the course? (when it counts)

I wonder if he's ever considered scaling back the driver swing a touch, sacrificing a few yards distance for better accuracy? Probably not IMO.

Why wasn't that first swing with the driver mentioned in that tweet?
My feeling is, he's prolly swinging fine but will struggle off the tee in the round Thursday.

FYI, there is no apostrophe in "The Masters".

Cliff Roberts is spinning in his grave.

I guess I was thinking that the word was possessive of thread.
Sheez guys.

If Tiger winning the tournament didn't already do that, then nothing will.

I wonder if he's pain free.

Interesting questions and responses. I wish they would asked those that fly mostly commercial, how many sit up front, and how many sit in the back?

I wish they would have said the most liked player as well. Not shocked at all to see Bubba, Pat, and Sabbitini as the top 3. I'm guess Steve Elkington still doesn't qualify because I don't think he was very well liked either.
And I'm guessing that less than 10 of the players interviewed don't fly first class.
