Dude shot 73, 69 and his short game looks to be back. Who is going to cry about that? Nobody expected him to return and win this thing.
I can understand not being a fan of Tiger, I guess, but the blatant hate some of you have makes me question why. And the answer I come to is ugly.

Speith didn't handle that pressure all too well coming down stretch last year. A couple bogies by Under Armor and a couple birdies early by Hoffbaw and this bitch is wide open.

When one of the greatest ever is in the field, you show him and talk about him. Spieth, Phil, DJ, Jason Day, Hoffman got plenty of coverage. No one is bitching about how much they gush over Jack and Arnie and Crenshaw and none of them have been relevant playing wise in a while.

Nobody said race but yall. And that isnt the reason everyone dislikes him, but you are lying to yourself if you dont believe that some people only have a problem with him because of his ethnicity.

disclaimer: it has nothing to do with his race and everything to do with his attitude. i've told the story before (probably during a masters thread) bet i've personally met him. i havent been a fan since that day and i was a huge fan prior to that day in 1997.

Dude. I like Tiger, but there are plenty of reasons for people to hate him:
Cheating husband
PEDS accusations
Gigantic dickhead up until recently
Acts childish and yells obscenities near kids
Etc

I was attending a clinic that he was running as a child. He was fresh off his masters win. I was tremendously excited to meet my idol. Instead of promoting the game of golf at the clinic he was being a dick to all us kids. Super small group of us, 8 to be exact. Super exclusive place in Orlando. He was just a complete arse. Never engaging us. Just sitting in a golf cart with his dad not doing a damn thing while we just putted around on the green and went to the driving range. This event was touted as an exclusive clinic with lessons from the reigning Masters champ. The douche never got out the golf cart to engage us. I'll never forget it. Like I said. I was a huge fan prior to that day in July of 1997. I don't care if he ever plays another tournament.

I want everybody to remain civil today. Y'all just enjoy some great golf at the greatest place on earth, and the greatest golfers alive. Nobody has to get upset if tiger plays well. Its good for golf when he does. Even though young Spieth is the future of American golf, T Wizzle is still capable of making a run here today and making it interesting.
Let's not bicker and argue over tiger woods. This is supposed to be a happy occasion.
