Whoa Nellie. It's way too early to fit him for the green jacket. Let's see how he sleeps tonight and how many knots accumulate in his stomach before he tees off tomorrow afternoon.

I think that's the most impressive thing.

He's kicking everyone's arse. Breaking records. Shits is unreal.

And he's been PLANNING it the whole time. Not, "hey, I plan on doing well next year!" He's been planning on destroying this course for a full year and is actually doing it so far. That's extremely impressive.

You are correct...stage freight is very unpredictable and could possible strike at any scene....but...I believe this kid is bullet proof. He may blow it but not because he's not prepared.

Pins will be in the traditional spot for Sat and Sun. Today was probably the toughest pin placement.

He's prepared and he's as mentally tough as any 21 year old I've seen since Tiger.

But this is his first night sleeping on a 36 hole lead at Augusta. Let's see what he does tomorrow. If he shoots 66, the Fat Lady can start singing.

He was so close last year.

I equate this to taking a really hot girl you've known forever out on a date to Commander's, or August, or Dickie Brennan's.

You bought her the most expensive meal on the menu, and went out dancing until dawn. You brought her back to her place, got her clothes off, and got denied as the sun was coming up from trespassing in the most holy of holes.

Here you are one year later. Stayed friends, been a gentleman, respected her boundaries, and are even more handsome and debonair than you've ever been. Her parents like ya, her friends like ya, heck even she can't stand denying you 12 months earlier.

IMO, young Spieth is giving her the business Sunday night.

Just have roses ready to launch baws.

You do have a way with words. Do you write romance novels in your spare time?

Tiger and Sergio should be more entertaining than watching the top of the leaderboard.
