It doesn't matter that he doubled "anyway". He was giving himself a competitive advantage by dropping CLOSER to the hole. IE illegal drop.

Clearly a bad drop. Probably ended with the same score as if he had made a good drop. Won't matter with regard to the score, but Tiger just revealing who he is.
