Why would I be ready to say that? He was tied for the lead at 2 of them. If he just plays better on the weekend, which I don't think is out of the realm of possibilities, he could win a major.

ETA: Not to mention, stating for a FACT any golfer won't win any certain tournament is pretty fricking stupid. Tom Watson almost won a British at 60. All it takes is playing well for 4 days.

As GREAT as Tiger was. and I know he has went through ALOT OF shite[SELF-INFLICTED]. But why can't this dude close out the deal all of a sudden. I am not trying to be a dick here, BUT his game is GONE. Tiger used to SHINE on the BIGGEST stage, he a shell of what he once was. Kinda sad. IMO.

PJ, Tiger has been in contention at most of the majors this year. He has won a couple of regular events. You can't seriously think that over the next few years that Tiger can't hole a few putts on the weekend at least once? Tiger is miles ahead of where Ernie Els had been heading into this Summer. If Ernie, with all of his putting woes, could pull out another major, Tiger certainly can.

Once again, when has anyone said he will be as good as he was in 2000? I sure as hell haven't.
In fact, I don't think it is a stretch to say that NO ONE will ever be that dominant again.
