I don't really think deeper fields is an issue to why he isn't winning majors. It isn't like anyone else is just taking them away from him, he just isn't taking them. I think it's pretty evident that when he plays well, he wins. I don't really see how people can argue with this. And I still will give him one more season with Foley before you say he doesn't have "it" anymore. If we have this discussion next year at this time and he still hasn't won a major, then I would say he has lost it. Like it or not swing changes take time, even for the best to ever tee it up.

It really was. This thread lost the "it" factor Hot Carl lent the board.

He was a ONE OF A KIND. Sure when he plays well he wins. So does EVERY OTHER GOLFER. Bottom line WAS. He WAS NO ordinary golfer.

Have the swing changes caused him to lose his short game? He used to be the best ever from 125 in and he never missed a meaningful putt.

Granted, he's 35 years old, but how do you go from the best ever around the greens to just average, if that?

Just saw the scores for the first time today. What's he doing? Driver? Putting? All the above? I see there are a few people going low, how are the conditions today?

I don't know that I would say way ahead. Jack won #15 at 38. Tiger's going to be 37 when he tees it up at Augusta next year.

We are in a delay right now. Not sure how hard it rained though.

Rory looked to be getting hot. It could be his for the taking.

Never mind. It is raining in buckets.

I saw he was shooting well. Adam Scott too. Tiger is 5 back with 11 to play today still right?

Yeah, tiger is really falling off.

See, the PeeJ comments above.

I think it has something to do with an 'it' factor.

If it stopped right this second, how long will it take them to get play going again?

Probably 30-45 minutes. They would have to give them a little time to warm up and get everybody back on the course. I don't think you will see any more golf today.
