Just look at the facts. He literally got a loyalty payment from the Tour, and then the Tour changed itself to allow him to do what you're complaining about him doing. That isn't an opinion.
So the tour bending over to change things to help Rory shows that the tour is the one who is the puppet master to Rory…..How does that make any sense? It’s the exact opposite of what you are trying to portray….Rory 100% at this point in his career isn’t controlled by anyone. He plays when he wants, where he wants , and says what he wants

So much so that he is breaking tour protocol and still getting away with it

Good lord Scottie. Just awful putting.

Brian Harmon didn’t miss a putt inside 10ft the year he won the open. Scottie would be 15 under if he could putt.

They said he has been bringing in the bagman to read his putts more this year. I think he needs to stop that. Like you said, dude has missed so many today that he normally makes a big percentage of them

He threatens to pull out of a major man That’s the most bitch made response I have honestly seen from a pro athlete As many times throughout history pro athletes have gotten what they perceive as bad calls how many have said “I may quit and go home” during play?

While I agree with Bryson holding up tee times is shitty, you can’t compare bad calls on other sports. In what other sport can someone watching tv call in and get you a penalty after the round is finished? Really not fair, he’s on tv every shot, burns shot 62 yesterday and we maybe saw 3 shots.

Do you think Bryson would’ve acted differently if the infraction would’ve been called at the time it happened? I don’t think he would’ve threatened to quit tournament.

Its happened to multiple other golfers. Some even in majors where they were deep in contention

None acted like he did

Not sure that is as big of a deal as people made it out to be. Surely they gets texts confirming their tee times. You know that the night before. Does it really matter a day a head of time if your tee time is 12:45 or 12:55?

Rory was puppet for the PGA Tour when LIV became a thing. Then, the PGA Tour gave him millions for doing so, and setup a structure for him, and other top golfers, to make more money to the detriment of the little man that they pretended to care about. Then, when the tour and Liv started negotiating, Rory told other golfers to get over it and move on. You can try to spin Rory as a guy who stood up for the Tour and defended it. You can't pretend he's thinking for himself.

Your description leaves out two pretty important details…

It wasn’t just Rory. What about Tiger?

Rory’s payday came when PGA tour decided to tell LIV golfers they could return after they received and got to keep their big paydays from LIV. It’s not like Rory was a paid press secretary but if the tour wanted to make Rory whole for turning down LIV money to stay loyal to PGA… I see no issue

He practically repeated verbatim what Brandel said last night. Used the words ‘performative’, ‘holding hostage’, etc. It’s like they used the same talking points.

what a petulant child. Bryson never said he wasn't playing. The media kept asking him nonstop like a bunch of dweebs if he was playing today and he ignored the stupid fricking questions.
