What a career changing 2 weeks for Chris Gotterup. Won Scottish Open and 3rd in the Open. Happy for him to achieve this. How many people golf at early age and dream of making it big only to fail. He is living a dream so many golfers never will.

The 1197 days stat comparison to Tiger is impressive until you realize Tiger wasn’t even 25 yet

Scottie’s run is insane, but he is 29 years old. Tiger was already the second greatest golfer of all time (at least) by the time he was Scottie’s age.
That’s not to say Scottie can’t get there as tigers run ended a lot younger than you would have thought, but Scottie didn’t start popping off until 27

Glad to see all the American's dominating Rory on his home turf.

Congrats to him beating Bryson by a shot and tying with the likes of the vaunted Haotong Li!

A "hero's welcome" for Rory at the 18th green as the Sky Sports announcer described it. Not a Rory fan, but that was a nice moment.

Scottie gonna Scottie. This was over as soon as he made the turn on Friday....
Special, and a privilege to watch.

I own so much real estate in your midget head that I am fixing to subdivide the land and parcel it out to build a single-family, custom home development in there.

To make this even remotely interesting, Scottie will play the remainder of his round left handed, using only a right handed sand wedge. Maybe that’ll make it easier for someone else to catch him. Or even get close to him.

Will be interesting to see how long the Scheffler era lasts. We haven’t seen anyone eclipse 5 majors since Phil.
