If the conditions allow it, I could see the winning score being around E.

This course is the most unforgiving course out there. A true test of these players games.

I'm watching the All-Access on Peacock on mute while I am in a training for work. Why do they keep going to Trey Wingo to interview people? Who is asking for that?

I guess a better question is if there is a main broadcast on Peacock that I didn't see?

ETA: Disregard. I just realized the regular broadcast is on YTTV.

These announcers on Rory’s featured group are idiots

He was in a penalty. If he takes a drop he is dropping right back in the thick shite

He had to try and hit it out and he did a good job advancing it out of the penalty area

Rory on the struggle bus. Kind of a dumb decision not to take the drop there IMO.

Good call, Jamal.
Course just ate up Bryson & Rory. It will happen to the others at some point, maybe not today

He would have had to drop in thick arse rough further back. Hacking it out was the right choice and he actually got it out. It was bad luck it ended up on a slope

He was staring double bogey in the face almost guaranteed with a drop

He likely will get that anyway but has a chance at a bogey with a putt now

Fairways aren’t really important now either

I’m highly convinced this shows itself in the long run. You can survive 9 or 18 holes like that.

You cannot survive 72.

I would imagine so

The crazy thing is the greens right now seem very receptive

I think in that instance.. 6 in one half a dozen in the other

I couldn't see his lie from that ditch so maybe he thought he had a chance to play it back out to the fairway.

Yeh once he drove it where he did Rory was staring at double bogey no matter what he did

Only way out of it is to have an amazing shot at some point

This course would be absolutely brutal if there were water hazards as well.

Can't wait to see how many pulls Scottie drives to the left today. Not sure his irons will be as responsive in this rough

I mean, Scottie does miss left sometimes but I’m not sure why you’re making it seem like he’s Phil with his driver accuracy.

For a course that looks rather tame without trees and water and not next an ocean, this is one tough layout.

J.J. Spaun's putting is quite remarkable.

There's no way in hell it will hold up, but for today it was special.

Very impressive but I’m betting he shoots over 70 tomorrow
