Betting on a guy who hasn't won in two years and expecting it to happen in a major is wild
You dont bet on someone +2500 because you expect it to happen. You do it because you think it might happen
Do you think when people bet multiple players they expect them all to win

Even better because this exact scenario happened when Xander won the PGA last year. He had 4th best odds at +1200
Morikawa has 6th best odds at +2500… *wild*

Morikwara has like the 6th best odds to win. Yes you expect him to win at those odds. Are you a beginner at golf betting. Jesus Christ

Kind of a combination of yours and the other suggestions. LFG

Once again, Xander was 2nd the weke before in an elevated event. Morikwara isn't even close to that.
The last three US Open champions were 10th, 11th and 10th ranked golfers in the world according to DataGolf. Sepp Straka is 10th in 2025

Best of luck! Those look like solid picks. The U.S. Open and The Open often bring unexpected names to the top of the leaderboard.

What a weird correlation. Are you betting on a guy to win who has MC in his last two majors?

I'm betting on the guys from each of 6 tiers I think will do best relative to par for the tournament. Because I pick 6 players it's obviously impossible for all of them to win.

I like both of those. Hope you win you some money.

Rory to miss the cut seems like a good bet considering he just played like absolute shite on a much easier course.

So a 20% chance? What are his odds to MC?
ETA: he did miss the cut here in 2016

Well he's got the 2nd most wins this season so it would be stupid to overlook him. But his major this year is in Ireland. I've said this repeatedly in the other Major threads

And he shot an 81 in a practice round.
I don’t think he’ll contend, but i think he’ll make the cut
