I'm not sure I'd bet on both Cantlay and Aberg crumbling. 2 very steady players. But it's Pinehurst so we'll see.

That was incredible. Scottie and Schauffele had it come right back and Rory ran it off the green the other way.

Theegala with one of the better chips we will see all weekend, maybe all season.
Very nice.

Tiger just landed the ball pin high left, on the fringe, on 9 and it rolled all the way off the right side of the green.
Oof

It is starting to feel like a US Open

I don't even want to think about how many clubs I would be throwing playing around these greens. I wouldn't have a score. I would have a pitch count.

Äberg hits 25 straight fairways to start his Open. His one and only missed fairway is probably going to cost him a stroke.

They weren’t even close to the fastest firmest greens at Pinehurst.

Pinehurst #2 actually sucked IMHO compared to the others I played there

Where is Tiger Ryno to tell us the sauna is heating up?

I heard he's licking his wounds after losing a heartbreaker in the championship game of his senior co-ed cabbage ball league.

I’ve struggled figuring out how I feel about it.
It was the last course we played, and the morning of the day we were set to go home. Although I did my best, it was hard to shake the “last few hours of a trip” crappy feeling.
I don’t think I’d feel this way about it if we played it day 1, but given the circumstances, it was sorta forgettable.
That said, I’m getting pretty damn good at the game and believe I’d have a blast playing it again.
