How has Rickie Fowler not won a major yet? Isn’t he one of the elite golfers of his generation?

I would not call him elite. He won at sawgrass and made a shitload of money but it seems his game fell apart after he got married.

I think the members of LACC limited tickets to about 20k per day. This is the dumbnest US Open since Chambers Bay.

It’s because this course and town are not fit for a US Open. I was at the 2016 Bridgestone WGC at Firestone CC and the winning score was 6 under.(DJ). I was also at Oakmont for the US Open when DJ won at 4 under. Both times the course was packed and they were the hardest test of golf I walked in person. This one is getting tougher, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone took advantage of the marine layer in the AM and shot up,the board tomorrow. The whole thing just doesn’t feel like a US Open.
