the coverage today is better than yesterday.
I still never understand why they have shots that focus on the ball in the air - am I'm supposed to be able to tell if it is drawing /fading/short/long if all I'm looking at is ball and sky? Anyway they don't show it as often anymore but I still don't get it.

Brian Harmon should be nicknamed “woodwork”. He’s not flashy, physically challenged, yet always seems to be hanging around on the leaderboard in majors.

He's the lefty version of Kevin Kisner. Oddly enough, the two were team mates at UGA

Not really. He's got one top 10 finish in a major ever. 2nd in the US Open. He has played 24 majors and missed the cut 11 times.

so I guess this is going to be the round Rory has in every major where he just blows up

Did y’all know that Francis Ouimet won the 1913 US Open?

If Morikawa has the fade back look out.

Seems like they’re going to set the stage and get their stories in and then actually show us some golf later

Brian Harman led the US Open on the weekend a few years ago. Other than that, he has never contended. However, he did have three top 20 finishes last year, and he pops up on the leaderboard from time to time in the early rounds.
That’s the unique thing about majors. One 54 hole lead five years ago, combined a recency bias over his 2021 finishes, and he seems like someone who is a bigger factor than his record indicates.

Colin in that little bunker, Rham drains that we could have a big swing here.

He’s seems like a good dude too. I only had a brief interaction with him but he was as cordial as he could be after a round at the FedEx a few years ago. Stayed way past when he was done with his round to talk to fans

3/4 of my picks for outright winner are in the Top 10 right now. Max Homa is letting me down.

I wasn’t his biggest fan early on but there’s no doubt he’s a good dude
