2 guys one shot inside the cut being 2 off the lead is pretty cool, means everybody who made the cut had a chance, usually isn't the case

that’s kind of a saying at the us open. if you make the cut you can win.

I know Irwin won there in 1974 with +7 but they said it happened twice in the 1970s at Winged Foot and Inverness.

I did not know that. I am a very casual observer but in a couple of years I'll drop this line to make it look like I know something.

I love how people are defending Phil for being a piece of shite.
He should have been DQ'd. If it would have been anyone else not named Tiger, they probably would have been DQ'd.
His explanation that he figured it was better to take the penalty than try to get up and down is pure bullshite. He was frustrated and he let his emotions get the best of him.
It makes me really think he was truly involved on that inside trading thing.

Phil basically has the golf version of hack-a-Shaq. No biggie.

Brooks has to be PISSED

I'm fine with the entertainment the course is bringing, but there is a ton of luck out there.

He didn’t have an angle to attack a flag cut 6 off the right which is effectively less due to the bunker. Have to miss on the fat side on that hole in a USGA event

I’m shocked Koepka’s didn’t roll off the green a 2nd time there.

Gary Woodland shot a 70 and finished about two hours ago. He was at +8 and tied for 48th place when he finished. He's now tied for 27th.
