It is laughable how people retroactively want to assign the super team moniker to teams who were never called super teams(and clearly weren’t) as a way to make excuses for lebron.

Almost as laughable as you continually attempting to contort your definition of a super team to make it apply to Lebron and nobody else WBB.

His definition of a super team is correct though
So magic, Kareem, and Worthy werent a super team?

And if Cleveland or whomever happened to draft lebron, wade, and bosh that magically would make them no longer a superteam?

This seems so childish

When Parish joined 62-win Boston, not a superteam?
When Moses joined eastern conference champ Philadelphia, not a superteam?
When Wilt joined the western conference champ Lakers, not a superteam?

This shite has never not happened. People made up the superteam argument to shite on Lebron because they fear that he’ll ruin their Jordan fantasy. It’s over. Lebron is better. The shoes your dad got you are ugly.

Not really a Lebron>Jordan guy but I do find it funny when people get themselves so upset over trying to knock Lebron that they bring up off the court issues into the discussion.

It's just a word. The 61-62 Celtics had 7 hall of famers on their roster.

Do you call them a super team? It doesn't matter, really. That team was loaded.

You're the one who cares about what facts qualify you for the "superteam" label. I think it's fairer just to assess the talent on the team, and that talent vs competitors. I honestly don't really care whether the talent was acquired via draft, FA, etc. Any team wants to build their roster by any available means.

Hypothetically

Lebron,AD, and lets say Jimmy butler would be a superteam if all acquired through free agency

KD, Kawhi, Curry, Paul George, Westbrook, Harden could all be on the same team and not be a superteam if built through the draft and trades

This is so fricking pointless

It tells us about the mentality of a player. Making a super team is sort of a bitch move.

Why do you think Kevin and lebron took so much heat? it’s bc they disappointed the masses who wanted to see them want to beat the best rather than team up with them.

That is what sports and competition is all about and making a super team is taking the easy way out.

We all know what that workout means

Once again, taking his basketball and going home when he's losing.

Was MJ a bitch for wanting the bulls to add better players? Yes or no?

He knew he needed better players to win, so his organization went out and did so multiple times.

The mental gymnastics you and others use is so strange to me

Its fricking basketball. Watch the players play and judge them. Stop bringing bro science psychoanalysis to try and make an opinion on who is better at a sport

Rodman was absolutely a role player. Maybe the second best ever besides Draymond. But a role player nonetheless.

Bosh and Love were also role players for the Heat and Cavs respectively

They were franchise players prior to being minimized by lebron. Franchise level talents.

Rodman, lol, nope.

Like Chris Paul and what Butler would've been if he didn't tell Harden to kick rocks
