I didn't expect Minny to even be competitive. They just never did anything to wow me all season. L'ville had Duke beat 35 minutes in. Minny lost by 20 @OSU and lost in the B1G tourney by 25

Depends really on what they're trying to do. I wouldn't call the D shite. It's passable. Grabbing rebounds on those long 3s is an important aspect of defending the 3 pt line. You don't want guys flying by shooters constantly to contest and letting them chase the rebound with the numbers. Kind of looks like LSU isn't trying to be too aggressive running them off the line, especially with the shot not falling.

My original instinct was to pick Minnesota but I looked at records and results against quality teams and ultimately over thought it and took Louisville.

Agreed. This is why people love it (not me but a lot of people)
Give me best 2 out of 3 of the top 16 instead. Or top 16 all play each other in pool play, then top 8 play one game for it all

Yale came into the game top 10 nationally in effective field goal percentage, so its not like they can't shoot. Yet, it seems like they missed all their open looks and the only shots they made were contested in some form
