and I have been very critical of this team in the past.

They finally have a decent D
Depth on Offense,Including QB
a kicking game

D backfield is still thin,, but front 7 looks like they can put pressure

They couldn't stop the run for shite today. The Saints gashed their starting D with backups running.

The problem is it is preseason and things change drastically. The saints offense in 2006 looked to be a historically terrible offense in preseason and they turned out alright.

ETA: to clarify, I am talking about mid second quarter when the saints took their starters out and the Texans kept theirs in.

This is probably true -- the Colts are on the way down even if Peyton is healthy

Texans are Next Year's Team.

Next Year usually comes sooner or later.

Uhhhh, what? After the Saints 1st TD they ran the ball twice the rest of the quarter.

Ben Tate looks great

Kareem Jackson looks just as inept as last year.

I think they win 10 games and the division.

If Manning struggles, the Jaguars win the AFC South.
Houston should be in the running for a wild card spot.

Manning healthy:
1. Colts
2. Jaguars
3. Texans
4. Titans

Manning hurt:
1. Jaguars
2. Texans
3. Colts
4 Titans

Manning out:
1. Jaguars
2. Texans
3. Titans
4. Colts

Yeah, the Colts won the division last season while missing half of their starters. Assuming they're even remotely healthy they should be significantly better. Of course Manning's neck is the key to their season, but if he can play I don't see how they aren't much better than last season

decent D

Unless Peyton misses more than 4 games, the Colts will win this division fairly easily if they stay healthy

Mario Williams has to be salivating at the Colts line. It's going to be pathetic again this year.

I just witnessed a $500 bet that Houston wins more games than the cowgirls. And a $2500 (between 4 people) bet that the Texas make it to the 2 nd round of the playoffs. I'd say dumb bet bc they'll be pretty good this year and cowboys will still choke on romo's cock.

Typical Texans fan. "This is the year!" Try making the playoffs once in your existence.

AFC South will be down. Texans have a shot, they have some quality pieces, just put it together and I think Wade will certainly help the D somewhat
