Teurlings HS baseball coach Mike Thibodeaux not returning next season

He won 5 state championships in 12 years at Teurlings. I heard rumors that he was a gigantic a-hole but I wonder what happened here.

Seeing coaches on twitter saying that parents complained about being too hard on their kids. So looks like people assuming that above were right.

BINGO !
Now they can lose in baseball like they do in football, but the mommies and daddies can feel good about themselves b/c the coach will be their kids friend. May as well fire the volleyball coach too, he's won about seven State titles in a row.

I know him but never had a kid in the program. I can confirm he’s a great coach AND a huge a-hole. The a-hole part became relative to the number of championships he won. I think it was a frick you, you can’t fire me, frick you, you’re fired thing.

I hope those kids are successful in life...because if they don’t like someone being an a-hole to them when they’re winning championships every other year, they are going to have a REALLY hard time with having an a-hole boss in a dead end job.

God forbid someone take his career seriously. My coach was a complete fricking dickhead in high school and we didn’t win shite. I’d have loved to play for a dynasty like that

Why? They can't find another job if they don't like their boss? As an amateur coach, you can't pass off the money people.

Wrong, while he had quite a few good players over the years if he had STM's talent during that time he might have won 9 state titles.
