You’re spinning trying to use an obvious cya/damage control statement as if it’s fact when we know for a fact it isn’t. A liar defending liars, how appropriate.

As I already stated, they are working with the feds. If they lied and/or covered this up, then some NBA execs are going to jail.

Link?
And you've yet to explain any logical reason why the NBA would cover up this scheme/issue, when given multiple opportunities to do so. Methinks you cannot.

They caught this in 2023 is what they’re saying and you automatically believe because you’re stupid but we know that isn’t true because it’s continued yet he still hasn't been officially found guilty of anything he’s just under investigation now, 2 years later. It’s a statement meant to cover their asses and avoid questions which is obvious to anyone not simping for them the way you are. As far as your childish question of how they would benefit, the easiest answer is this is very bad for them in terms of optics and with their fans and calls into question all the things you’re trying to silence here. The bigger motivation is something your pathetic mind couldn’t handle and would never admit to so I’ll spare myself the time explaining it to you.

I still don’t understand the incentive for a guy making around $20M/yr for the last 7 years to get involved in something like this.
Is the dude struggling for money for some reason?
Hes still under contract and will have made $160M after next year.

No. My assessment is based in the fact that there is no logical or intelligent explanation for a conspiracy.
This is specifically why I gave you the option to explain any scenario that makes logical sense (Which you have declined to do multiple times).

Clownish deflection followed by a clownish self proclamation. All complete self delusional, make believe.

The casino or bookmaker investigated it because it didn’t pass the smell test….not because they lost a bet

You think the New Orleans Hornets had a top 5 identity concept?
The Hornets brand was iconic. I traveled the globe for work back in 2015 - 2017 and I'd see Lakers, Warriors, Bulls, and Hornets gear. Shocking amount of Hornets gear.
Yes, it was of the Charlotte throwback vintage, but that could have easily translated into New Orleans Zion jerseys, New Orleans alternate gear. You don't voluntarily walk away from those colours and that logo for the Pelicans D+ rebrand

not only is this happening in nba, but cbb as well
and the fixing of games is going on as well. they tried to keep the temple shite under wraps, and it luckily got washed out to see, with other news pushing it out.
NIL brought the fixxers 100% access to college sports athletes.

So this moron is making $25M this year and another $26M on his contract for next year. Or ~$155K per game net. At the end of this season he will have earned $131M over his career.
Unless he is wagering his own money (unlikely), or getting paid a flat fee by a gambler, I cant imagine the money he received to fix a player prop bet approached even a few game checks. Even in the case of only an indictment, the NBA would void the remainder of his contract and issue a lifetime ban. Its mindboggling stupid for him to risk a net sum of $25 plus million over the next two years and jail time to get some side cash on a few prop bets.
Then again, this is the same idiot who pissed away a $300K Adidas shoe deal by wearing Nikes in a pre-game shoot around.
