This one and the MSU one to a lesser extent became national news stories yet nothing big were levied against either school considering how heinous the crimes were. Even PSU's wins were restored.

It will be interesting in discovery to see how much Bush and Pryor actually got paid while in school. Curious if would be enough to make the IRS interested.

Would be really funny if during this the universities come clean on how much under the table cash all these players got

This. The schools need to come clean so we can restore all forfeiture of records but not go backwards for financial comp. Time to close the book and move on.

Then we need collective bargaining for players in a smaller NCAA that puts contracts in place.

Difference is Bush and Pryor were casted as bad actors by the NCAA

Because they were. They broke the rules. Everyone had to play by the rules.
Now getting paid to play is legal, for everyone, across the board. It’s competitively equal.
Back then it was different.
They want to utilize the rules of today for prior seasons when the rules were different.

Well no shite Sherlock. A shite ton of people would.

Maybe the Saints should sue the NFL for not having a review process for missed PI back in 2018. That cost them a trip to the Super Bowl, possibly a championship and untold millions. Maybe we can add all the fans of the Saints as plaintiffs too.

This shite is out of control stupid. I hope a judge slams this shite.

You have to believe that such things were ever taken away and believe the NCAA has magical powers to erase documented history.

Both are dumb asses. Neither have a argument. but the world we live in today so judge somewhere will rule in their favor.

He couldn’t give two fricks about this unless it comes with money.

He literally says he broke the rules in this statement. I’m sorry you feel slighted, and I think the rule was dumb. And I think taking wins and awards away after the fact is dumb. But come on man, the rule was in place and you proceeded to do what you wanted anyway. Why does anybody owe you anything?

Casted?! He admits he broke the rules in this statement. That makes him a bad actor, no?

The question is how do you account for schools/players that followed the rules? Retroactively validating a rule breaker (to an extent) invalidates those that "followed" the rules. I guess the solution rest in some type of "middle ground".
