Does anyone wanna explain to me how in the hell Rafa was only -345 against Stan? I can't say I wish I would have gone bigger because I focking put the whole account on it. But I can say that it's a damn shame my account balance wasn't bigger.

I mean, seriously, did the bookmaker's remedial fourth grade son get access to his computer or something? That was like the free-est free money EVER.

Actually a couple guys I follow and respect were both on Stan, so I don’t feel as bad as I did in the afternoon when I saw the score.

Here’s a write up from one of them. I think the last line sums it up pretty well.

I radically changed my forehand grip a couple years ago

I've been saying I will do this "in the offseason" for the last 3 or 4 years and it never happened. I can't even imagine how awkward it would feel... probably like trying to play left handed. I ended up testing different strings and tensions to improve that shot specifically. The hardest part was having to adjust the rest of my game to the strings.

He got a good Rome draw too

At least Thiem will be a 4 seed at the French so he won’t be in Rafa or Novak’s quarter.

Douchypants is playing well. I thought he was going to choke that game.

I had a feed with no announcers. Did they ever mention if its windy? Rafa had some puzzling forehand misses.

I've had the sound down, but you can see on the court level camera shots their hair is blowing around pretty hard. The ball is definitely flying on Rafa out there. He breaks to 4-2 in the second.

Tsetse wins. Great match. I could see both of these guys skip Rome, although it will be interesting to see if Rafa wants the reps and to get a tournament win under his belt.

Damn Rafa was -800 to win too ... crazy odds. The young kid is a freak! How many finals is that this season?

Here's an interesting fact for you. There has been only one year when Nadal didn't have a clay court Masters tournament under his belt leading up to the French Open. That was 2014 and he ended up suffering one of his worst clay court losses of his career to Djokovic at the French Open winning only nine games in three sets. I would say it's critical for him to win Rome and get back to form.

Is it just me, or does Novak look about 10 lbs heavier, most of it in his lower half - still lean, but looks more powerful in the legs than I've ever seen him. He is a damn machine.
