Well it is clear that you are just a Tech flamer and have no dog in this fight.

Your answer to ever rebuttal about Tech's scheduling and upgrades and other things Tech is doing to trying to separate itself from Sunbelt schools, is simply because they are pussies. You are a shite stirring moron.
Let me know when you've caught up. You're incredibly behind the curve in this conversation.

I have read the thread, your family has gone to ULM but what does that have to do with you, an LSU grad, calling Tech out for not playing ULM. ULM is no where in Tech foreseeable future so ULM will have to get over it try and improve on their program and quit trying to rely on Arky and a game with Tech to inflate their numbers.

quote:Not so fast. The Mountain West will pursue a 12-school lineup sooner than later, and at least two of the three additional schools will come from the WAC. The WAC will either have to expand or cut dead weight. The dead weight, of course, is Tech. If the WAC expands, I wonder what conference they'll consult?

ajs008, you're getting nowhere here. Tech has a program drunk with elitism and a secret fear of losing one of four (or more) to a school with a program they consider inferior.

Tech is ranked 106th all-time according to this site, and 83rd in the last decade. Is Tech really in a position to claim significant superiority over any FBS school?

Shreveport Times reported today that Tech has scheduled another home game with an SEC team.
(Rumor has it Tech is trying to cancel the game because we are pussies).

Can't argue with that, but where is ULM?

Also, ULM regularly plays SEC foes--some home, some away. Not sure what point you're trying to make regarding Tech's ability to schedule SEC teams and occasionally beat them; ULM does the same thing.

This decade, 100ish.

It took you 25 minutes to come up with that? Get that weak crap outta here!

That's when you know you've beaten your oponent. They attack you personally instead of the facts. Good day

Because we're pussies. That's not really a pussy move, it seems.
Why get a home and home with ULM when we can get multiple 2-game series with Southern Miss, Houston, Army, Navy, Mississippi State, etc.

I see McNeese at 110 and Tulane at 114 still don't see ULM. How 100ish are we talking about? Who are the ULM vs SEC home games?

You are from Farmerville? My mom and dad both grew up there. Go BIG ORANGE
Guilty as charged. Lived there from 1975 to 1977.
Played for Robert Charles Payne, the man who changed them from "Fighting Farmers" to "The Big Orange".
We beat Carroll in the Optimists Toy Bowl when were 2A and they were 4A. The next year we got moved up to 3A and had no chance in a district that included Wossman, Richwood and Winsborough.

Started kindergarten at Rocky Branch School on this day in 1985.
I graduated from The Ville with quite a few Rocky Branch residents and played ball with Bobby Porter and Reuben Tatum, two of The Branch's greatest ever!
The Ville had a really good team last year and should have a good team again this year. Watch out for those Shady Grove & Blooming Grove speedsters! Watch out for those corn fed country boys. They've got a coach that is getting their best effort every week. Pack an All Day Lunch for those fellas, you'll need it!

I am guessing we would play ULM for a one and done rent-a-win.
Clearly ULM wants to play us more than we want to play them.
We have the leverage, therefore, we should set the terms.
