Isn't he in single A? There is zero chance he's taking a legit prospects spot.

Strange. I would have expected him to strike out the first three times and then hit a walk off home run.

The Mets' offense stinks, call him up to the show

I would just like to say that for a guy who hasn't played baseball in 10 years to just say "y aknow what, I think I wanna be a pro baseball player, I think I can make it" at 28 and in 1 year be hitting home runs even against minor league pitching is an example that he is one hell of an athlete

I just watched it. He actually has a nice swing with some pop.

Is this dude going to do a fricking media circuit every time he hits a homer or makes a great play?
Gotta be more than obnoxious if you are his teammate.

He didn't know it went over the fence?
Would be pretty awesome if it makes it in baseball.

Oppo bomb too, from a lefty/lefty matchup

The guy pitching was the 666th pick in 2015. Not joking.

He's not going to make the majors. He's big and strong and has played baseball before. He's obviously going to run into one occasionally and hit a HR, but he's not going to hit consistently. He's just not. Sorry.

I dont disagree with you, thats pretty logical based off what we've seen from him at a pro level... But I really hope you are wrong. And one thing I know since watching Tebow since HS is... You can't ever doubt him. I'm not trying to get over-dramatic, but I have seen Tebow work miracles on the field when every logical thing and everyone was pointing against him.

Didn't Tebow quit in High School?
So he's back there now.
It's A-ball...still basically just right out of high school talent and kids. The average age of kids in Single A was 20-21.
Players in Single A were considered old by 23.
The average age of players in Triple-A last year was 28, and the vast majority of players in Triple-A.
Players in Triple A were considered old by 28. Triple A is full of old prospects nearing the end.
Tebow is 29 years old in Single A ball.
So in essence he is playing at his old high school level. But as a grown man against kids.
