Will unveil it at Pro Day on March 17. You think this raises his stock? If so, to what?

Add...3-5 step drop backs and quicker release

Depends on how he throws.

sure. Let's see how it goes with some big arse DE's coming at him to take his head off.

this won't help him. I have said it from the start, he is a system QB and that's what he will be forever

In order to properly describe the probably outcome of Mr. Tebow's latest change I'll turn to the immortal words of the great Major Payne: "Still a shite sandwich; just not a soggy one."

In summation, this makes him a TE/FB prospect w/ a more professional throwing motion. Kudos Mr. Tebow.

exactly. He started changing it at the senior bowl. He got better every day he was there. However, once the game came he went back to his old ways. He also, even more concerning, REFUSED to throw downfield.

Im not convinced. He should have been working on this ALL season long, IMO. I mean, why else come back to school?

I was shocked to see little to no improvement in his game or throwing motion this season

I have always said that if you get pressure on Tebow when he is forced to throw, he is terrible.

fricking pissed me off how much the media made him out to be the best QB, which is clearly not true. GREAT guy and GREAT leader, but he is no QB. Not NFL caliber anyway.

i'll be anxious to see how much velocity he can put on the ball with the new release. doesn't look to be throwing particularly hard in the videos that have been released. and as the other posters in this thread have eluded it will be interesting to see how the new release holds up in a real game situation (if he ever gets the chance) when he's not thinking about it.

true. However, he never had much velocity with his old release either.

it looks similar to what it used to be

he still loops it around, but just not all the way to his waist

The coaches tried to help him but it didn't take.

So Mike Vick can be an NFL QB but not Tebow? BS. Vick is one of the stupidest people alive (but he is light-years ahead of JaMarcus Russell in intelligence) and started for several years. Hell Vick is so supid he cant even run the zone read.

Vick still has better mechanics that Tebow, even if not by much. He is also a more explosive athlete form the QB position than Tebow...
