I think the key argument is that despite the fact that Ron is playing for next season, Ronnie Mex should still have to give up fair value for the players he's getting in return.

how so

you think what the lakers did last year was FAIR in the sense of what yall are talking about

what is the difference

i just think that you got way to much back. i haven't veto'd yet, but i wouldn't even propose a trade like that. it's mind boggling that rick would give up so much for kobe pau and a 1st. IMO, kobe and Pau isn't really that much of an upgrade over vince and antwan, plus you get mags and deng. just crazy.

exactly

my mind is fricking blown about this

and i'm on the borderline of contention and keeper-retention, so i understand the argument on both sides

did rick get some magical exception that would allow him to acquire a keeper next year out of thin air like free agency?

i offered him kobe and crawford, but he didnt want too many guards

i just think that bc i am a borderline contender, and i made a good move for myself, i shouldnt be punished bc everyone else is bitching

and how is kobe, pau, a first, and a third, not an upgrade over vince, jamison, and a 4th

combined, he got four years of age, plus two better draft picks next year, plus he got the best player in the deal

no, its the same situation. he dumped off and got better for next year in a manner that seemed unfair

obviously cap relief is not in the equation, but the grizzlies made themselves better, much like rick did

you can equate the cap relief to the picks if you want to

peole vetoing this are the ones that were trying to work a deal with rick behind my back after they found out what rick and i originally had planned out, and once he rejected the initial one, they moved in and tried to take advantage of my good idea

I tried trading JO for Antawn Jamison two weeks ago. And the trade I offered Rick people would not even think of objecting too.

Your trade can still go down Ron. But you're either going to have to give up more or receive less.

are you fricking kidding me? you think this deal is = to jackson for boozer? you are so fricking stupid it's not even funny.

and last year i gave stout 2 keepers for lebron, melo and durant. i have never "raped" stout. i had no clue boozer would be out this long. that isn't even close to this trade dude. you are nuts.
