when cal has a running game, it's usually fricking awesome
JJ Arrington was a 2,000 yard rusher

I didn't get a chance to see the Cal game or any highlights.

i had it up on 360 on my laptop before the LSU game and after the US national team game (i think that was the order)
i turned it off after like 3 possessions b/c cal was dominating maryland so badly

I expected them to trounce MD with the terps returning the least starters of any non-service academy, so I didn't think that much of it.

Recap:
1. Cal hands off to Jahvid Best.
2. Jahvid Best pwns Maryland in the arse.
This process will basically repeat itself all season until Cal has to play USC and maybe Oregon. This could be DA BEARS year in the Pac-10

my week 1 top 10 had oregon top 10 assuming this could happen, but i admitted that it would be cal or oregon. after week 1 i switched the rankings. the same thing happened w/OSU and PSU

They would destroy lsu.
LSU would beat Boise by 17+ in Baton Rouge, and I'm not even kidding.

I still think we should do the top 15.

you think LSU would score about 52 points or so?

we put up 24 against UW
BSU has a better offense than UW

Thank you for voting, LSUSportsR4me. Here is how you voted:
1. Florida - Showed nothing to deserve being dropped
2. Texas - Same
3. Alabama - Best win of the week
4. Oklahoma State - Offense was the weak part in a Top 25 win. You have to like that.
5. Southern Cal - Could be very good, but all the above teams have better resumés so far (Texas and Florida because of last year and returning starters)
6. California - One of the most impressive wins this week. Best looks like a Heisman candidate.
7. Penn State - Jumped out to a 31-0 halftime lead and coasted. Solid performance.
8. BYU - Big win. They run a real offense, and the defense played well (though Bradford out could have been the reason).
9. Notre Dame - I don't like this, but they shutout Nevada. I don't think anyone expected that. Clausen looked good.
10. Oklahoma - This team is always at the top. They got unlucky. I'm sure they will straighten it out. They don't deserve to fall further than this because nobody behind them was very impressive. Even with the injury they lost by 1 to a good BYU team.

If we were doing a top 25, I would definitely put Miami around 15 and FSU around 20, but I don't think they've really done enough to be top 10 teams yet.
However, the game was a lot of fun to watch and definitely the best game of the week. Greg Reid was awesome.
I still have BYU and Boise at 9 and 10.

I don't give a shite what happened in the Washington game. In Tiger Stadium, with Boise having to travel across the country and not us, we would beat them pretty good.

well unlike a lot of teams, UM went on the road to beat a talented (could be good) team
their offense looked real (but FSU's D may suck)
OSU and LSU didn't
BSU played a team who played horribly and if they keep that up, will be lucky to win 6

based on what?
their offense would give our D fits. multiple sets. timing passing routes. outside running.
our D looked like dogshit against this, against a team with 2 guys on offense
BSU would put up points against LSU. at least 21. that means for LSU to win by 17, LSU would have to score 38
we put up 31 total against a UW team who has shite for talent on D
