How can you rationalize putting Ohio State in the top 10 if you can't rationalize putting LSU in it? They both sucked.

Navy > Washington ?

Washington has better skill position players, they aren't as bad as last year showed, lost their two best players on offense and quit on their coach.

washington has nothing on the DL and in the secondary
i think locker falls back down to earth and eventually hurts himself (again)

True. It's either this or most people are inherently picking Ohio St to win the BIG Ten and they feel that that in itself deserves a top 10 ranking. Next weeks game with USC will be enlightening.

Locker is a very talented qb, especially if that 4.4 time is legit. He'll win some games for Washington, by himself.

i still won't believe he's a good passer until he consistently shows it
he'd be the first QB to ever go from "dogshit horrible" to "awesome" in 1 year. sark can't be that good

When he was playing as a freshman he was already getting hyped up, just made some freshman mistakes which led to a bunch of picks. You could definitely see the talent is there.

lsu and ohio state are very similar teams imo.
both have elite athletes that dont get utilized properly because of conservative playcalling.

he's TALENTED as frick
but this is the first year he's being taught a true passing game
he needed to RS his first year to learn a spread option offense, b/c he was option only in HS
this is literally his FIRST year running a pro-style offense EVER

well i agree, but OSU's talent level has slid from its peak of 2005

naa, osu has 4* and 5* across the board.
similar receivers
similar qb
similar DBs
similar LBs
similar coaching
lsu has the advantage in the running game and OL, but ohio state has the advantage with an easier schedule, so i think they will finish higher.

All I'm saying is, they play in the PAC 10, his athleticism will win them a couple of games. If he was healthy last year, there's 0% chance they go winless. They're a much better team just because he's lining up at qb, and with Polk healthy.

I got the error message again, so I guess I'll never get one of those cool "Thank you for voting" screens
Here is my top 10
1) Florida
2) Texas
3) Alabama
4) USC
5) Oklahoma State
6) Penn State
7) Ole Miss
8) Cal
9) BYU
10) Boise State
Obviously I had to drop Oklahoma because of the loss. I also dropped Ohio State and LSU for now. I would have ranked LSU at 11 and Ohio State at 12 if we were voting for the top 15, fwiw.
I also think Washington would beat Navy. Duke beat Navy last year.
