And here we go. You're dealing with make-believe again. A lot of ifs and would bes have to be there for you to make your argument.

is it worse than you saying TCU recruits better than any team in the Big 10?

or that after 4 years, they have done more than any team in the Big 10?

14 is a waterhead man. Just let him go. For some reason his nonsense is logical to him and comforts his simpleton mind, so just let him go.

I don't know why H-Town is on their "We are elite" bandwagon. He is usually very knowledgeable and reasonable, but he's abandoning it for this for some reason.

I do respect the TU fan for coming cleaning and saying he knows they aren't elite, but rather just a good program. No harm in that statement.

Until TCU can lose six straight to Auburn, they'll never be elite.

I assume you mean TCU, please link where I said they were elite? I've asked how we are defining it, that's about it.

I'm no TU fan or UT fan for that matter.

I didn't say they were elite nor did I say they weren't elite. I simply said the term elite is an ill defined term that you are now basing your arguments on. You have such a bias against the current system that you have the inability to recognize that TCU was one of the nations top teams the last 2 years. Youy are so angry, jealous, and frustrated that you didnt get an inivite to the table that you resort to calling people names and making wild predicitons about what would have been or what would be.

I agree with trouble, you need a break or you are going to have a CVA.

How many BCS titles has TCU won?

How many consensus national titles have they won in the last 50 years?

What's TCU's record against BCS conference teams compared to Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn State, etc.?

Dude give it up. The only TCU fan in this thread doesn't even believe they are elite, so why in the blue hell do you?

Three consecutive top ten finishes, something South Carolina will never achieve.

In fact, TCU has as many top ten finishes this decade as Carolina has top 25 finishes ever.

But until TCU can go 2 for 7 against Ole Miss, they'll never be elite.

TCU has finished in the top 25 eight times since 2000.

How many Big Ten teams can say that?

Not getting into this argument, and I don't think TCU is "elite" or whatever. Just throwing out a stat.

They have 1 more BCS bowl win than USCe will ever have. Only 11 teams have won the BCS CG.

how is that relevant? BYU has 1, are you saying they are elite (they were in the MWC last year) How about Pitt, Ga Tech, Colorado, Michigan State are they elite? What about Clemson (only time the Palmetto state will see the NC )

aside from you who cares? Why is that relevant? They are 1-0 vs B1G teams in the Rose Bowl

I thought you said they were elite. My apologies.

I'd say top 10%, so that would be the top 12. Do you think they are in the top 12 as a program or in terms of talent right now? I think they'd be in that "C" tier (if we are going to put every team in a letter column assigned to every 12th quality). They are a top 30 program and do put out some good talent, but they just aren't at the same level talent wise as Arkansas, Michigan, or South Carolina. They and Utah are the creams of the Non-BCS crop though and didn't murder smurfs for their playing field.

Oh yea, it's not just the Big Ten.

How many teams in the entire country can say they've finished in the top 25 eight times since 2000?

A few Big Ten teams. LSU might be the only team from the SEC West who can say it. Georgia and Florida maybe. Virginia Tech, maybe West Virginia.

USC, Oklahoma, Texas, and that may be it.

Every pollster and every computer has thought so in each of the last three years. You disagree with all of them for some strange reason.

I guess until TCU can prove on the field that they can go 1 for 6 vs LSU, you won't change your mind.

Raise your hand if anyone other than a gamecock fan puts USCe in that category.

IMO, TCU has done more and proven more in the last 2 years than USCe has in the last 10.....or 20 for that matter.
