Why would Fried challenge Alonso with Conforto on deck and an open base with 2 outs? Makes zero sense.

because our pitchers don't know how to think critically on the mound, in general. it's like they have no ability to game plan, and that goes to coaching

These acquisitions have been just what the doctor ordered. Unbelievable how they’ve fit in. Gotta credit Snit and the culture he has created in that clubhouse that guys come in and fill roles. There are a ton of professionals on this roster.
