He probably killed his case when he started talking shite on twitter when Fields was transferring.

I mean you're not wrong, but why not try to get out of sitting a year when others have done it successfully with less to go on?

I understand what you're getting at, and I think if the coaches have that ability, the players should as well.

I agree.

What I don't understand is (from what I've read) Tathan was set to graduate in May anyhow. He could've transferred somewhere else anyhow as a grad.

I think he is a Sophomore. Assuming he enrolled early, that would mean only 5 semesters. Is he majoring in underwater basket weaving?

That report was false.

there is no justification for forcing players to stay

i can see not allowing mid season transfers to play until the next year but if they want to prevent players from leaving then they should be paid and have legal contracts, otherwise, they can go wherever they want to after each season ends

I think Justin Fields just did that already.

Ding ding ding!

After the Justin Fields precedent, any kid that wants to transfer and get immediate eligibility can do it. Period. The transfer rule is now a rule in name only.

Going full grandpa doesn't help your credibility here, but your first sentence was correct.

And that picture is probably one of the least punchable of him.

Just seeing him on QB1 made you hate him. Seeing him compared to Fromm was a really bad comparison for Tathan

I feel like Tathan is going to raise hell if he doesn’t get a waiver after Fields did.

Either way, it’s going to be another Friday afternoon news dump where the NCAA tries to avoid any headlines on the case.

If the UGA qb got a transfer because of "racism", this guy will for sure get approved after the OSU circus last year.
