Until then stop trying to act like she ran track for USC and reps them. She doesn't wear their colors at meets scrub.
She is a Trojan and she is repping the USA. Get the sand out of your vag.

Great she still never ran track for USC. Maybe if she does big things in "elementary education" you can claim her LMAO. Until then stop trying to act like she ran track for USC and reps them. She doesn't wear their colors at meets scrub.

When did I say she ran for SC? She went to and graduated from USC. She is a Trojan. It's not very complicated. I don't know why you are taking this so personally.

Back on topic - I'm actually glad she conceded. If you lack the confidence to win a 3rd place runoff in qualifying, there is no chance you will do anything worth a damn in London.

I had a friend text me that he thinks she might be on PEDs and she's trying to quietly go away before she gets busted. I don't know how often they test in T&F, but I guess it's possible
She's still going to the Olympics.

In the big picture this is bad for the US at the Olympics. Felix is not going to medal in the 100 and the extra races she is going to run will take a toll on her.

It could cost the US gold in either the 4 X 400 and/or the 4 x 100. It also could have an impact on her chances of winning the 200 gold.

I think the US team would be better off having Tarmoh run the 100 (she will not medal either) and save Felix for the 200, 4 x 100 and 4 x 400.

I doubt either of these young ladies are huge Slayer fans, but you never know.

Anyway, the both the winner and the loser of the hypothetical race would have been on the 4x100 team, so that point is moot.

And it won't have an impact on her ability to win the 200.

We may just have to disagree here. This is the scheudle Felix will have to run at the Olympics.

Friday - 100 prelim
Sat - 100 semi & final (if she makes it)
Sun - off
Mon - 200 prelim
Tues - 200 semi
Wed - 200 final
Thurs - 4 x 100 prelim (she may only run final)
Fri - 4 x 100 final, 4 x 400 prelim (she may only run final)
Sat- 4 x 400 final

If you assume she will make it out of the prelims of the 100, to the finals of the 200 and the finals of both the 4 x 100 & 4 x 400, she is running at least 7 races in 9 days. There is no other time outside of the olypics that she would keep this schedule.

If Tarmoh took her spot in the 100, you eliminated at least 2 races. This would allow her to be fresher in the 200 and the relays. Since Tarmoh is not running in the 200 she would have more time to rest for the 4 x 100 relays.

Felix is the favorite in the 200 but running the 100s could impact her performance in that race and have an impact at the end in the relays.

We shall see...

She went to and graduated from USC and is a professional Track & Field athlete...but she doesn't represent USC and Trojans can't claim her?

Trojan for life, brah.

Tarmoh was on SportCenter yesterday and she said that there's no way that USATF would have called for a runoff if Felix had initially been declared the winner, taken her victory lap with the American flag, done the post-race press conference and left the stadium.

there's no reason not to run for the third spot.

concession makes her look like a coward.

Tarmoh isn't a coward and Felix isn't brave. Felix is playing with house money in this scernario. There's no way USATF would have called for a runoff an hour after the fact if Felix had been initially declared the winner. USATF, NBC and Nike are too heavily invested in Felix. Her picture was everywhere in Eugene, including on the city buses, not to mention the 40-foot murals outside the stadium.
