Tarik Skubal having elbow surgery

Didn't he call the trainers out to look at his elbow before resuming in the Braves game recently?

I remember that. It was weird, BG called it out on the broadcast after he threw a fastball around 90, started flexing his hand and then called the trainer and waved em right back away.

Granted, he did throw 97 on the very next pitch. It was strange

How the hell do they go from, he's starting today, as he was projected to start everywhere you looked online, to he's out indefinitely with a surgery?
Now i've got bets for guys on the Red Sox to strikeout against Jonny Wholestaff instead of Skubal.

I'd go so far as to say it's not good for baseball...but unfortunately it seems like it happens to everyone at some point if they are around long enough.
