Nowadays (i.e. late 2010s onward) it seems like you not only need to have that “statement”game (i.e. “Heisman moment”), but you also need to play for a team that doesn’t shite the bed against inferior teams. If OU builds off the current momentum of the end of this season, Rattler could certainly put himself in prime position for NYC.
