Assuming they play the style they are known for.

I say true, can’t pack it in and play a half court game today, they’d get run out the gym, wouldn’t be able to set their defense, and couldn’t rely on shoving and pushing inside because those are all fouls now.

Of course, this is a silly thread because I’m sure they would adjust their strategy, but if not they’d get waxed

True. Players are so much better today.

I don’t agree with that, it’s just that the game has evolved and coaches/players now realize what they’re capable of if they just play aggressive all the time.

I’m thinking their shooting percentages would make it impossible to win today

If you literally just dropped them into a game in today's NBA, yes they would be the worst team in the NBA.

Pfft. LeBron/Durant would literally be on the floor crying if he had to go inside against Rodman/Laimbeer

They wouldn’t have to go inside because they would just shoot 3s all day on that team.

They still had the Worm and Spider. They could move.

Joe D could shoot 3s. As could Aguirre. A change of focus and you would have Isiaih and the microwave hitting mid 30s for. 3.

The name of the game is putting the ball in the basket. With those 3 guards and Aguirre they are a threat.

Plus Lainbeer had that mid range jumper. People forget he was taking 3s back then.

Liam beer is no scarier than any other center today.

They'd probably be laughing at them being ejected for flagrants.

Yea okay but that’s my whole point. They wouldn’t go inside they would stretch them out and either blow by them or hit 3’s in their faces

Lambieer would have difficulty staying on the court in today's nba.

6’3 Joe Dumars would have significantly lower 3pt% in today’s nba.

I’m not sure about that. Guys lime Monroe can’t play cause they can’t stretch. But Bill could.

Aron Baynes plays.

One of the best teams of all-time, 1987-1988 Lakers didn't run them out of the gym, beat them 4-3 in the Finals.

I'm more talking about defending today's NBA bigs without fouling when they get the ball and drive from 25 feet out.
