but I have seen nothing from Logan Thomas to convince me that he's even close to being a decent passer.
more over hyping by the media slurping VT, The dude is a TE not a QB i have a feeling this experiment is going to fail

I wouldn't say that Nebraska 'whooped' us. Anybidy who watched the game knows that there were a couple of huge calls that screwed us over. Not sure if the outcome would have been different, but it would have come down to the wire.
And to answer the original question, no I'm not surprised. We probably wont even be ranked if we beat Colorado. Stanford the week after will be the big test. It looks like our defense is turning the corner earlier than it did last season which is encouraging.

I have seen every udub game so far. You couldn't stop the pitch or the sweep. They ran all over you. My buddy just kept saying Oregon is going to frick us up. Yeah, there were some huge calls but it isn't the refs fault the team fell apart. I'm a husky hater so yeah....you got whooped

You won't and it shouldn't be surprising. Keep winning and you will be. I honestly think you won't be ranked until towards the end of the season. Stanford and Oregon will knock you guys down as you climb up. I really hate preseason rankings. I can't stand people posting saying we beat the so and so team.....lol, we don't even know how good a lot of teams are still.

Why do you think the coaching staff is taking two highly rated QB's this year?
Lindquist and Miles are both top 10 Dual threat QB's.
I guess depth is never a bad thing. Just seems a bit strange though.

I forget the story behind that. I think they went hard after both and just decided to take both of them since they are both studs. One of the top QB's in the country for next hear is right in He's back yard too. Bringing in 2 this year is kind of turning him off to US though. QB is the one position we wont ever have to worry about with Sarkisian, which is nice.

Eh...possibly. Even then though line Washington up with those teams mentioned. Do they win?
VT - Loss
Illinois - Probably a loss
Baylor - Probably a loss
I don't know if you can say that. VT looks pretty average. They have beated 4 pretty crummy teams, and struggled against ECU. They continue to get by somehow on name recognition.
Illinois? Yea I think the Illini would beat them, but Baylor... not so fast, if RG3 doesn't play a good game, they are not that good of a team, he adds a HECK of a lot to that O.
I still think UW is in the middle of the PAC12 grouping... but certainly trending upwards

Up to #27 after a bye week.
Should be ranked with a win vs Colorado this Saturday.
