like henry minor would have been at the university of kentucky had the new coach not pulled a bush league move and pull his offer
Kentucky has had the same head coach for a while now, and your story is wrong. The kid that committed to Kentucky was a defensive end, his scholarship offer was not honored when Mike Archer left and a new defensive coordinator took over. That DE then went on to sign with La Tech.

Um..
Archer came to school one day, offered three guys
Stewart
Minor
Broha
Theres even a rivals.com article floating around somewheres about it
Broha and Minor accepted, Stewart didnt he wanted to play DB, so Stewart didnt accept.
Broha, Minor go on a visit. Committ afterwards.
Archer leaves, the new guy comes in, and pulls both of their scholarships.
That was Minors only offer at the time, he royally screwed the kid over. Broha had others I believe. Luckily minor got some other offers eventually, and it looks as if it paid off for him.
Weiner is on record saying that UK is not allowed to ever recruit at catholic again for what they did to Minor and Broha

"I've known for a long time now that Kentucky is where I wanted to go," said Minor, who made it official this weekend after visiting Lexington. "I hated to see coach (Mike) Archer go, but I felt very comfortable with the school regardless of that.

so was Minor offered as a RB? Because that would explain why he didn't end up at Kentucky, I don't know how many defensive coordinators have the authority to offer a scholly to someone they will never coach.
Also, I don't get my news on Catholic High recruiting from rivals, and my source close to the program said that only Broha had committed, I trust him more than rivals.

They offered Minor as a DB, which is what he is playing at Cen Ark.

thanks, in that case, the kid needs to stop pumping up the myth that there was a D1 running back coming out of Catholic every year since 2001, since half of them were 1AA and a lot of them never even played running back in college.

I agree...there is a huge difference ...when I think D-1 I think BCS

With this kind of things...unless your source is the kid or the head coach....but even then the kid can say whatever he wants...

The only people that know the truth and what really happened is the kid and the U of K coach

2001, excuse me (the 2000 team at a 1000 yard TB)
These are guys that PLAYED TB at CHS
Greg Skidmore - Northwestern State
Tasmin Knockum - University of Memphis
Brandon Harrison - Stanford
Dremell Adams- SLU
Julius Fleming - New Mexico State
Jeremy Stewart - Stanford University
Henry Minor - University of Central Arkansas
Todd Lee - New Mexico State
Marcus Thomas - Naval Academy
According to the CHS website.....there were ZERO running backs from CHS in 03,04, and 05 that went to play college ball anywhere.
So, your statement earlier in the thread about having a running back go play for a D1 school every year since 01 is factless and total bullshite....assuming the website is correct.
