re: Best sports shoe of all time?

Seriously guys

These are considered to be the BEST jordans and basketball/street shoes EVER

The introduction of the Air bubble and the Elephant skin..revolutionary in terms of sneakers. Athletic shoes would not be the same today without the Jordan 3s

re: Eric Decker for Heisman

He reminds me alot of a Dwayne Bowe, a Dwayne Bowe that has been producing all of college

Decker is unreal...and has a real good build for the NFL too. Not overly fast, but uses his size effectively and runs good routes.

I'm a fan...

6-2 220 4.5 speed?

Adequate...looks like he could develop into a really solid #2 or #1 option

Andre Anderson will also get a good look from the NFL.

Doesnt run hard enough
We force feed the ball to andre in the red zone...he doesnt run hard at ALL
Jeremy williams looks like a 2nd round pic

Despite the preseason honors, Ross Thevenot and/or the kicking team has been disappointing.

Ross' punting has gotten better as the season has gone on and hes getting back into his mid season form.

He has had really good punts lately, coverage has messed some of those up.

Also, the snapping has been very very below average, I'd give it a D out of A. It ma have effected his punting early on

Is the little guy being talked about from St. Thomas Moore or Catholic? I'm not following, haha.

All I know was Catholic's kick-returner was pretty darn small and he was #32, I believe.

Question, why did Jamie McClure not play tonight?

I know nothing about CHS ball now besides Zack Oliver being the only legit D1 prospect and that he is a pocket passer they try to run with

No.. he plays right now. I didnt know if you followed them still?

Nah I dont really follow them anymore besides the random tidbits i get from the advocate and other people.

I honestly feel as if the Acadiana game, if this is the route CHS ball is going in, was the last crushing blow to a great, HOF worth career from Coach Weiner that some will unfortunately taint with our/his big game collapses and loses.

Hopefully it is not, but things are look bleak.

The mood after that game was that of a funeral. You could have swore that someone had died from the groans and moans and shrieks.

Catholic doesnt look like they have the athletes of the past IMO

Speeds there we've won 4 straight track state championships.

Players arent coming in by the boat loads anymore tho.
Catholic is "letting" more kids in?

Those type of kids have been there forever and were htere when i was there
The Acadiana loss is looking like the last striking blow to CHS in the Weiner era.

Havent been back in 4 years, but looks as if the program has gone downhill since that loss.

Most embarassing loss of the decade for catholic points wise.

Looks as if the DB's got worked today. The secondary has probably been the weakest position at CHS this decade. Its just so hard to establish a effective pass defense in high school because your DBs either have to be so talent, gotta have athletic backers, or you have to get a great pass rush.

My senior year we were fortunate enough to have 3 all state defensive linemen and were able to get pressure from our front 4 every play. That helped us out alot back there in coverage, but we were still weak over the middle, not to take a hit at out LBS they were solid high school lbers, but the only level you ever see lbers that are effective in pass coverage is at the PRO level. And thats were teams got us on our run to the semis.

According to the CHS website.....there were ZERO running backs from CHS in 03,04, and 05 that went to play college ball anywhere.

So, your statement earlier in the thread about having a running back go play for a D1 school every year since 01 is factless and total bullshite....assuming the website is correct.

Sorry, some of those guys were two year starters.

Mels not up there for '04, julius started in '04 and '05 and mel started in '03
