You know, I'm beginning to be ok with it. He's done a pretty nice job this season all things considered.

I HATE when people say this... Its how you develop players once they get to your school... Some can do it well[Saban] And some can't..

Did he throw the players under the bus again or did he nut up, set his huge arse ego aside and admit that he sucks as a coach?

I think he can be really good. Especially against top tier teams, but will he ever be consistent enough for his team to have a great year?

He opened the season (Maryland), and closed the season horribly, for sure. Their other losses were #11 USC, #3 OU and #18 Oklahoma State, which they had the chance to win all three at the end, and #10 TCU.

What has Herman done to make anyone think he’d be good?

LSU fans still think he would’ve been a home run hire

I get the waiting thing but this Texas team was good enough to beat TTU at home. Herman was outcoached by the guy who starred in the notebook.

He has a few ugly losses this year. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, USC and TCU were all better and texas played with all of them. Maryland and Tech are both bad football teams. No excuses can be made there.

Worst loss to State in program history. Lost to Troy. Lost to Bama again.

Tell me again where this is a “nice” job? Is this where we are as a program?

I don’t think Texas is a good fit for Herman. Didn’t last year. I think Herman/Applewhite with Aranda would’ve been killer. (Considering how a year ago I was sure this is what we would be looking forward to)

Get that shite out of here. That loss was clearly not due to coaching

Obviously, the answer to that is "YES".

If we are comparing Orgeron to Herman, the only comparison is 3 losses >>> 6 losses.

Good day.

I'll even excuse the first loss to State as the staff was trying to get a footing under themselves and the offense was trying to learn a new set.

The defense however, sucked bigly and everyone continues t9o suck off Aranda. His Defense was a large part of the first 2 losses and people still worship him as a god while pillorying Orgeron. It's very lazy thought.

It's a good point you make. However, you could really say the same thing about Charlie Strong last season.

I would still take Jimbo today. I'm not sold on Herman but it's his first year. Is he still kissing players? That's pretty weird.
