OK.. I have been following pro sports for over 45 years.... This is MY.02. The evolution of pro sports is an amazing thing... BUT its just SPORTS............ If you follow it...great... But again its just sports..... IMO maybe this guy Sterling is saying "hey THIS is my way of going out on MY terms.... The dude is worth like 1.9 BILLION....Think about it...
I will make this as clear as I can.. What he said has NO business in society and was TOTALLY WRONG...........
But If PJ is worth 1.9 Billion would I really care of what you think???? NO.. NOW I would NEVER say the kind of things HE did. But still..............

He learned today that what he was able to get away with in the real estate marked didn't translate to the NBA.
What I was amazed by, was how did the dude stay an owner as long as he did? David Stern hasn't been heard from as far as I know. Gee, I wonder why?

You are free to like or dislike anyone you want. But be ready to handle any consequences if you work for a private business, or any company really.
Donald Sterling can own any basketball team he wants, it just cant be a part of the NBA
You can go around your job office talking about houw you hate Jews, but if your company finds your actions/words harmful to the business, youre done son
ETA: and no, its not a crime. Sterling will not be going to jail or face any sort of criminal charges

He didn't go around his office saying anything. He had a PRIVATE conversation illegally recorded. Again, I don't like the guy either, but regulating morality is ludicrous . Where does it end? Was it ok that Isaih hated Larry Bird? Yes it was ok....he's entitled to his opinion and so is this idiot.

True. We're not allowed to say certain things on facebook, post certain pics, etc. Can't start rumors or do anything negative that'll affect the business or we're gone.
