Last time I can think of anything close to that was Kyle Turley’s helmet toss. In the 1990s.

Smith is right.

White people should not talk about the NFL, should not watch the NFL, or even know who Donald is.

And that was because his QB, Aaron Brooks, was getting his neck cranked in the pile by a Jets player. He didn't fly off the handle because he got blocked in a practice session.

Schefter is saying ‘assault,’ where all of these people are saying these things are criminal. To me, that puts these players in a position where you’re making them or you’re putting them in a category with people that rob, with people that steal, with people that assault

I too associate a person committing assault with people who commit assault.

The NHL seriously had to consider pressing charges against Claude Lemieux in the 90s. Hell, Bertuzzi and McSorley were publicly destroyed for their actions.

I quit watching ESPN's woke, racist, ignorant commentators and shows years ago. Just watch the games. Stephen A has done this for a while now.

Those guys should respond by demanding an apology from Stephen A. for his racist comment stating that it’s unacceptable. There should be calls for his suspension.

And he was ejected, suspended, fined, and ordered to anger management over that

other examples of violence extending beyond the game

Dino Ciccarelli was sentenced to a day in jail for hitting a guy in the head with his hockey stick
LINK

Marty McSorley same thing but much worse. he was charged with assault and received 18 months probation
LINK

Jose Offerman was NOT charged for hitting two players with a bat after charging the mound. He then cold cock punched an umpire during a game, also was not charged with anything. He received a lifetime ban from the league, a ban that was later lifted
