Playoff hockey the Hurricanes are WELL known for having one if the loudest houses in the league. That’s a fact.
We just haven’t been there in a while.
Stanley cup finals 2002
Stanley Cup Champs 2006
Eastern Conference Championship 2009

I think Vegas wins because it’s the Sharks and Evander Kane and Martin Jones are due for their mental lapses.

Puck disappeared...whistle blew.
Once it was established that the whistle blew its irrelevant.
The puck was in the net when the whistle blew

Have been irrelevant for more than a decade.
Vrbata was like 23 and Stillman and Brind'Amour weren't having to pop ED to get a hard on.

The Avs won the cup their first year in Denver but no one in Colorado cared at the time, how could anyone say their arena was loud in 1996

Well, I posted earlier how Fleury's been in this situation twice with the Pens...and lost both times.
I guess it comes down to whose jinx is strongest.

I was at all those Avs games 96-01. Great environment. Especially any time the Red Wing Evil Empire rolled into town .

No one turned out in Denver for their cup title against the Panthers, the arena was empty
Denver didnt start to care about the Avs until 1999 or so

I’m not saying we’ve been dominant fir the past 10 years.....we’ve had shitty ownership, and wasted money and efforts on Eric Stahl.
New owner ....new coach
We’re in business.
Brind’Amour could frick your wife so hard she’d forget your name. He competed in preseason drills and finished top 3.....so get bent.

You’re clueless...this area is made up primarily of yankee transplants. Not to mention the fact that the Canes have been here for 20 plus years. We know what the frick we’re watching.

Especially by Caps and Pens fans

I will admit it was sad that ya'll parted ways with Skinner.
I remember thinking he was so badass his rookie year.
