My wife asked me, how big of a lead do they need before i tell you the score. I said 3 goal lead and i'll let you tell me the score.
She tells me ok, we can watch, 2 minutes to go, 4 goal lead. And of course i flip it on and boston scores. Wife turns it, i said NOOOOOOOOO, its to late for me to screw them now!
they packed enterprise with fans(18K), put about 12K in busch stadium to watch, in the rain, and nearly every bar was packed, even the hole in the walls who have reruns of matlock on, had watch parties.

Dude, this is a city that has experienced something like 12 titles in the last 15 years (I don't claim that number is 100% accurate, but it's close). The Bruins are literally the 4th most important team to this city (out of 4 possibilities).
