That was a beautiful shot/play by SJ, even if negated by penalty. Can't say I'm sad...
I love playoff hockey.
They may have started that a few years ago? I remember the NSH-PIT series having some of those.

CBJ did well to fight their way back into that game, but two costly turnovers late, one by Foligno (I think) and one by Panarin led to the odd man rushes that resulted in Boston's 3rd and 4th goals. They can't make those types of mistakes against good teams. The Panarin turnover was particularly bad I thought, he needed to get the puck deep but tried to do too much with it. He's a major reason that CBJ is even in the series though. Also, CBJ waited until the last 7-8 mins of the game to really play with some juice.

Avs dictated the pace for the last 6 minutes. Before that, holy crap. They have to beat that 1-3-1 , dump the puck and forecheck with a vengeance to have any chance here.

Against the run of play for sure. SJ has done very well this game and Avs PP is non existent. This is a tense game and Grubauer is phenomenal again.
